Any way to play only offline?

So the devs seems lazy and cant implement seperate progression for offline only.

Is there is a way to disable online play "forever" so that I can play only offline and have ability to save my progress somehow?

Nope. That would be an entirely different game mode which would (should) prevent you from taking that character to the coop/pvp modes.

Also good luck trying to move the battery train around by yourself with AI companions on solo and not go insane.

Just got the game, and you guys are telling me I cannot play offline, I'm just interested in the campaign, not some online trash. I'm starting the game now and I can see it joins a server, why is that?

you may play offline and level up your character but offline play progress doesn't transfer into online. Or you may play private operations with bots.

Getting the game for roughly 6 hours of campaign mode? Well...it is your choice lol.

Oh wait i get it. You need offline only *with saving progression somehow* to use cheats. And no cheat is working in online mode lol, Wemod, Fling, cheat engine, they all woking in in offline only and dont save your progress in operations. Poor little thing...

you are wrong. WEmod works online too. you can use it on BF5 multiplayers lol. no people want to play offline, since tehre is enough issues with internet connection this days. can you imagin that you cant play couse your router is done? crazy

Try having steam in offline mode, play SM2, leave game and start it again to see if your progress has been saved.

Not sure if this would stay if you change steam into online mode again, But you could try.

This is what I want. I am travelling a lot and 50% of my time I dont have stable internet connection.

I already suggested devs to implement two seperate progression paths one for online, one for offline. But you cant join online games with your offline character.

In 2024 it should be possible to do.

Only if the game is designed for it. Doing two separate modes takes extra work and money and for a game that is mainly online co-op it wouldn't make sense to me to do that.

Create a windows firewall outbound rule to block internet on \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Space Marine 2\client_pc\root\bin\pc\Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2 - Retail.exe
