Game Settings being reset?

Anyone else graphics and audio tabs getting reset every time they relaunch the game?
Been getting this problem since the official day 1 update

same for me, no fix that I can find, the ini files are encrypted too. gotta just set every setting back every time

Same here having this problem since the day 1 update, Tried everything but in my testing it seems to be related to when you hit the main menu and it pops up saying you've signed in

I put this file to "read only": AppData\Local\Saber\Space Marine 2\storage\steam\user\*numbers*\Main\config after setting the correct graphics settings and now when restarting the game it keeps the settings, so I guess that's a diy fix for now

Thats sooo weird, I tried it a few days ago and it didn't work at all. Gonna try it again

Didn't work for me Question is the file called platform_usr_settings.cfg? Cause im thinking its because I have the linked account its grabbing settings from there

You can't read it since its encrypted, so you can just set it as read only sadly

So weird I don't have those files exactly, only the Platfrom_user_settings.cfg and so on

You are looking in the wrong folder, I think you went user, instead of steam -> user

But when I try to set files to read only, the game just makes a temp file and uses that instead :S
so I dont know why it worked for you, I guess it is random.

yeah it doesn't work for me anymore either, maybe it had nothing to do with it in the first place, dunno. I suspect it's something to do with easy anti cheat and/or the fact that the game doesn't want to close it just freezes and eventually crashes when you try to quit the game.

Noo noo thats whats in my user folder, I have all this wierd playform infront of all the files and cant change them or do anything with them. For some reason aswell I decided to just jump on the game one day and it works now. No idea why didnt do anything to it
