How do I play as Chairon with only two people playing

Like the title says me and a friend are playing when he invites me the game defaults me onto Gadriel, I dont want to play as Gadriel though.

I was wondering this too because I wanna do the bit where Chairon gets separated as Chairon.

I believe that is on purpose, so that the person playing as Chairon is not stuck with a player and an AI for support, but actually have 2 players supporting him. I could be wrong, though, but in my head, it makes sense. If the AI is just dancing around, that campaign section could be very frustrating.

On the other hand, if you have trolls as friends... that's another matter, not only that section will be frustrating. Hahaha.
