I rely on this damn auto switch because I jump games and use certain button for certain actions on the Desktop Profile, when tapping out of a game...
I would like to know what process we should add to make auto switch working.
Option to do something, like driving a sports car at 200mph, doesn't mean you're automatically allowed to do it. In this analogy you're calling speed cameras (tool to prevent speeding) shady.
So you say it's shady to call them stupid for blocking auto switch driver profile based on the process. But setting it as persistent still works as intended by logitech. So what now? Did they do bad job by just blocking auto switch or how should I see this?
I can bind my 4 butons and the automatic switch work.
I link my mouse profil (G700S) to these exe :
- Start_protected_game.exe
- Warhammer 40000 space marine 2-retail.exe
- Warhammer 40000 space marine 2.exe
Hope this can help you.
It was worth a try. I must have missed the start_protected_game.exe somehow. But it only works for about 5 seconds upon game start while the splash screen appears. As soon as it goes into fullscreen mode, ist goes back to the default profile.
Yes... I was already so far and tried to create the profile using this .exe File but the profile can't be created using this file. It appears to be protected of sorts... You can add it to the existing profile if you create it with the default .exe but even adding it to it, doesn't work for auto switching.
That's rather stupid because the driver works if you set it as persistent. So the intention of blocking support software backfires and is just another annoyance for legit player that doesn't cheat.
Although going deep into the files and linking the right executable (client pc, root and so on) it just starts for a few seconds with the profile and then when it goes full screen/borderless/windowed (does not matter, i tested this) it changes to my desktop profile. Does anyone have a solution yet?
