This backwards thinking is what got the world into many world wars and forced many people to endure genocide after genocide. Why are we still humoring this deranged agenda? This game needs a patch to equalize authority, or else it's just going to keep coming off as racist beyond it already being mid and boring af. Where are all the normal, non-Caucasian looking characters.

They tried, it was called Concord. It included a variety cast of many different human and alien races. The game was mobbed to death by a paid for racist mob that openly stated that, and I quote "lesser races aren't human in our eyes, and therefore this game should die." Which it did, abruptly, putting many hardworking devs out of a job and completely killing a game that was genuinely fun and had many great years ahead of it. That is my entire point. If racism now dictates what games can and can't exist, who's to say what's next...

I said lead characters, not side nobodies without any back story. Filler characters of different races is more racist than not representing other races at all. From the Marine you play to the Captain, and the chaplain or whatever, they're all white.

If you play Warhammer 40k tabletop, do you want to invest additional real hours painting in diversity into your 10 thousand or a 100 thousand point army, or do you want to simplify it by having them all be painted a similar color?

Now in the lore there are black/dark skinned space marines and its multi-faceted with multiple races across all the chapters and legions spread throughout the Milkyway. There are entire reddit threads talking about books that cover this stuff.

this game isn't completely black and white, you just gotta look into it more if you want more definitive answers.

Im really wondering why these 2 dudes (except Titus) in main trio are not white. Marines should look like their Primarch because of geneseed and operations. Robot Guilliman is white, so why these guys are not? This is absurd. These are token characters.

I don't want steam points and never have I ever created a thread with the intent of making any. In fact I'm asking people to stop and to give them to someone else. I find the steam point system incredibly disrespectful.

Truth be told I really don't have issue with the cast. If a video game is fun I don't care who is doing what or where. Though given recent events in terms of Concord and the forums there, It's come to my attention that there is an active mob going out of their way to destabilize worthwhile developers who create non-Caucasian characters in positions of power. That is, to be frank, incredibly distressing. Now don't get me wrong, I know there are tons of stuff out there from diversity hires that honestly are hot garbage and deserve to be ridiculed as such.. Same goes for non diversity hired projects that turn out to be trash, but when a game genuinely delivers and still gets torn down by the mob.. Yeah, that's a bit distressing.

Concord didn’t fail because of its diverse cast. It failed because it was genuinely a ♥♥♥♥ game.

No one actually needs themselves represented in a video game for immersion in order to have fun in it. And if you do you should seriously start looking into how you have been manipulated into thinking that way by a failed education system. The entitlement social media has created is hinging towards full blown narcissism.

And make no mistake forcing your point of view into entertainment media; which was always about fun and escapism; is exactly that. And if you feel the need to do so then create your own universe and characters. Stop trying to hijack franchises with established source material by simply race and gender swapping characters and making that their main identity. And have your reality check when it fails like Concord, because guess what no one wants your politics in a game.

What do you mean, its either Gadriel or Chairon (I mix their names as they are all romanesque ultramar names) is clearly asian.
