It encourages you to try new things
There is no other way. Its quite silly game forcing you into a match you literally cannot play because you are on an unleveled character.
Because having your class taken means you just leave that lobby. You can't play a high difficulty mission with a level 1 character.
i agree, but i am currently trying to get the purple upgrades for weapons, and i feel like using a lvl 4 heavy over my lvl 20 bulwark is a little unfair for my teammates
i dont mind if it matches me with a team that isint using my class at least, im just tying to farm up some purple weapon upgrades to try new classes without being a burden
There is zero need for no limits on them and it creates much better setups.
exactly, i want to use my level appropriate character, the only one that is able to right now is bulwark that i have, but since everyone picks him and the game wont put me in a party with different classes, im stuck either hopping or using a vastly underleveled class
It encourages you to leave if your class slot is taken which is what I’ve seen pretty much everyone who loads in do. My time is limited, I have a life and I’m NOT going to spend 300 hours grinding every class just to compensate for the difficulty of missions. Any other developer of a horde based co-op shooter could have told them all the ways this wouldn’t work in the long term and eventually, just like the rest they will have zero choice but to bend the knee on this or watch the game die just like every other game that tried this has had to. This is just history repeating itself

Yeah no, it encourages you to try new things, if people just leave this game wasn't for them anyway specially at higher difficulty where team comp matters.
Grinding a class for max difficulty only requires greens and anything between levels 5-20 depending on class, tactical works from level 7 onwards and is a great class to as it has access to most primaries.
Vanguard and sniper both level fast because of weapon usage.
Heavy gets very fast leveling past 10 due to damage.
