Using an SSD, playing on Ultra graphics, yet still my in-game graphics are terrible?
As said in the title, I just don't get it. I'm not having any FPS issues, I'm playing this on my SSD and my graphics are set to ultra. I'll note that I do have a gaming laptop, not a PC, and there's an issue where every time I increase my texture graphics it says that I don't have enough video memory. Really need a hand with this.

The only explanation I can think of is this. No idea how or even if this could be fixed though.
Post your actual specs.
make sure the game is running on your video card not ur internal graphics card. you can find this in your video settings. if thats not the problem you may just not have enough vram.

Is it a hard cap on the system or is it more a thing where I can free up space or something? I'm not tech savvy sorry, dunno how these things work

higher res textures take up more video memory. You cant get more. All you can do is lower your settings so that your card can actually handle it.

Made sure it's running on my video card. I'm not really sure how much VRAM I have, but I do know I have 16GBs of RAM. That's supposed to be enough right?

Post your actual specs.

Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11300H @ 3.10GHz 3.11 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Found this under device specifications, is this roughly what you need?

Gotcha, that's a shame. How would I go about getting more video memory?

Not everything under it because I'm not entirely sure what I should be sharing and what I shouldn't lol

You can't get more, you're stuck with however much is on your laptop's GPU.

Texture streaming is a pretty large bottleneck in this game sadly, so it's something you may just have to deal with.

Like I swear the Swarm Engine is a derivative of Unreal Engine 3.

Ah dang, that's a shame.
