They are counting cash right now.
Give em some time, like maybe winter.
How about an even more mind blowing concept for you. 6 days ago it was a Tuesday which is a weekday and launching a game on Friday aint anything new.
1) (This fixed the issue for me), exit the game, temporarily disable your Anti Virus (this includes windows defender) and launch the game again to see if it runs fine. If it does, you can make an exception for the game folder so the AV leaves it alone as a permanent fix.
2) Ensure anything that might be creating a Overlay on the game is disabled. This includes the Steam, Discord, or Overwolf overlays if you use those.
3) Ensure the game is installed on your SSD if you have one.
If those do not work, there is a guide being maintained with common fixes here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3325253230
I've played almost 25 hours since Friday's release and so far not a single crash.
So yes, people absolutely should get days off of work, but if they wanted to take days off on the weekend, they shouldn't have aimed their launch for that time period.
Needs a movie and a mini series starring Henry Cavil.
