If you stay in the same lobby, you will be on the same side.

if you join a lobby and your a traitor, you need to look at your life ;) but for real you are stuck on the same side every match in that lobby, so re join hope for the best

I've rolled 1 on a 20 sided die 6 times in a row.

Rolling 1 on a 2 sided die 11 times in a row isn't that unusual.
