Chainsword trampling stride work?

Does the abilitie to perform a doble stomp works? i try to hold the attack button after the 3rd combo and i can only make one stomp

I'm having the same issue. Just unlocked it and can't get it to work.

It works, it's just a bit clunky. When the animation of the first stomp starts, like when the Marine starts to lift his knee, release the button and then press it again and hold it. It should go off this way! For the Emperor!

Absolutely doesn't work no matter where you hold it in the animation lol

I tried your method too and I can't get it to work, either. Every time I would click and hold again the character would always revert to a forward punch. This is definitely one they need to fix.

You have to do it from neutral (ie. without any directional input).

I was running into a similar issue with being unable to execute the double-stomp from the trampling stride perk.

After some investigation it seems that the relic-quality (gold) chainsword named "Choler's Teeth" cannot do the double-stomp. Using either of the other two relic-quality chainswords worked fine and I was immediately able to use the double-stomp without any trouble.

So either this specific chainsword is bugged or it's somehow tied to the speed attribute of chainswords (Choler's Teeth is the only chainsword with a 1+ speed, the lowest of all chainswords). I didn't test with any lower quality chainswords.

Its the weapon speed. the slowest weapons cant combo some attacks, its like the animationts just take too long for the followup input to register.i remember something similiar on the forcesword as well, like with a weapon that is too slow holding forward will never let you combo as you will just keep repeating the first swing in fast style

I'm going to call BS until you upload a video to YT or something. I've tried all three relic weapons, and various timings of holding the button. I just get neutral heavies instead of a 2nd stomp.
