Report a translation problem
1) (This fixed the issue for me), exit the game, temporarily disable your Anti Virus (this includes windows defender) and launch the game again to see if it runs fine. If it does, you can make an exception for the game folder so the AV leaves it alone as a permanent fix.
2) Ensure anything that might be creating a Overlay on the game is disabled. This includes the Steam, Discord, or Overwolf overlays if you use those.
3) Ensure the game is installed on your SSD if you have one.

if you hit esc button it pauses the cut scenes.
that i cant help you with, only thing i can say is try to use nivida or amd launcher to change setting before the game launches
