So the 50$ season pass is for cosmetics

Was debating on buying the regular or gold edition.

I think that settles it. I'll buy the season pass if it was maps/campaigns.

I don't care about GD skins or other minor things

WWZ was an aamzing game and the campaigns were great, I didn't buy skins I bought the new maps in france and Japan etc

An optional way to support the development of a game you play, while showing off gear that nobody else has - while not forcing the average player who doesn't want to spend the extra $50 to shell out money to be competitive in a game.

i'm not sure, I was just asking everyone. It says something about a "Chapter" so I'm not sure if they mean they are adding a new campaign/chapter map or if they mean adding to a previously made one.

I came here to ask and get jumped on by fanboys who are mad I don't want to pay for cosmetics and would rather spend my money on other things, it's wild.

This is not some gatcha with pointless reskins, being able to choose a chapter you like is key to warhammer.

But if what you are saying is true, I think that's awesome. Keep the campaigns free for the plebs and let the people who have extra money "donate"

I actually like that so much, it would BE THE ONLY REASON i would consider buying a cosmetic.

I have bought things that were not gameplay related in the past, just to support certain game devs that I truly wanted to support

Space Marine chapters are essentially just the different kind of Space Marines. Different groups, with their own look and sub-culture and so on.

In the context of the game, it is purely cosmetic. In the story you play exclusively as Ultramarines.

Ah, because they've certainly put it all behind a paywall. A shame you can't unlock anything through gameplay or completing challenges. The only way to play the chapter you want is to buy it.

Great move from the devs. Way better than other companies who are f-ing things up on a daily roll... *cough* Ubisfot/Sony *cough*

Even with the current options you can create very good looking marines.

At first I am like wtf, I will never buy that, then I hear it's because they are making the game play content free for all base game buyers............. now I am more inclined to send them some extra loot eventually. And I am not just saying that, I most like will. But not right meow. I'll break it up cause Im about to throw down money for the game today anyways
