Extreme stuttering in the game.
Hello,

I have AMD Ryzen 5900x, RTX3080 Ti, 64GB with updated graphic drivers, 2 monitor setup.

This game stutters to such extreme degree it's completely unplayable. I don't use any other software other than steam or telgram and browser turned on in the background.

Devs, please address that issue asap.

I won't play more to not lose my refund period. However, I am forced to leave a negative review for the time being to warn the other potential customers of the issue.

If you are stuttering then it's an issue from your system. I can tell you the game runs perfect for me, in fact i rarely see such a flat frametime in games. I only've tiny traversal stutters when entering new area, which is normal.

Make sure to tweak system settings, like GPU and CPU to max performance in windows, you should also check thermals - this game is insanely demanding on CPU this is the only game i saw that pushed my CPU to 70 degrees.

Capping your FPS helps. The game is CPU intensive so I'd check resource usage on the second monitor while in a mission. If it's slammed, turn down the graphics from Ultra to High helped me.

Edit: This game has a lot going on with the SWARM AI. Beautiful detail though

Yea Its feels like the servers is causing in game lag. Characters are jumping from place to place and the enemies are hard to get a sense of cause they respond late to attacks on them.

The game also doesn't compile all shaders on first launch, so the first mission will consistently have frametime spikes as new shaders are being cached.

It sounds like you may be having the high ping issue a lot of us are struggling with, it occurs in all modes even singleplayer, if you press tab you can see your ping to check if this is the problem and you'll end up with a red signal warning in the top right of the screen

I've made a ticket at the following link, if you are having this problem please do have a look and upvote it, the more upvotes then the higher the priority the devs look at it

The game hasn't used more than 23% of my 12 Core CPU in the menu but is stutters so much it feels like 3FPS and I can't even hit the buttons easily.

There is no excuses for the game to stutter so much on my rig. It ates Avatar Frontiers of Pandora for breakfast.

I wouldn't be surprised if game's related software stutters the game to such degree.

It compiled the shaders, the stuttering in the menu remains.

The game stutters in the menu, to begin with, as I stated in the OP.
The CPU usage is 23% so there is not a hardware performance-related problem that could cause that problem.

I just had the same problem doesn't seem to be hardware I played a lot of missions and It happened once and both my CPU and GPU were at less than 50% of usage. It was really weird. It also happened in a game where I chose the sniper but for some reason was a bulwark at the begining of mission (was sniper in lobby before lauching)

I think it can be related to a mouse. I noticed this:

When I start the game and leave the game's window inactive ( I click on second monitor while the game is starting), the "Press to start" screen in the game moves smoothly with not stutters.

As soon as I make the game window active, it stutters extremely.

Sadly, I don't have a controller to check this with it.

Same CPU and GPU, half the ram, are you win 10 or 11?

this is 100% my problem and i can not figure it out for the life of me. i play with a controller and it’s buttery smooth, also i can run around with my keyboard and it wont cause the stutter but as soon as i look around with the mouse it happens 90% of the time. i’ve lowered my polling rate (did nothing), ive lowered my dpi (nothing), i even used windows high dpi scaling settings to see if that would work (nada). some people think EAC is flagging any program that changes mkb settings like logitech g hub, causing the game to constantly check/update the devices on board settings with every single input.

Still having this issue as well, despite my PC being able to easily handle the game at 120FPS.

4070 ti super, 7700x, 32GB ddr5 and I’m getting a lot of stutter, frame timing issues as well. I run every game 165fps smooth but SM2 is a struggle.
