Sniper needs more reserve AMMO. At least more than 12 or 14 rounds.
More ammo=More fUN

Sniper is definitely the most undertuned class. Gets wrecked in PvP, and Ops just doesn't have enough punch with their invis. Ops is their best mode though. Hoping they get a buff in the future (or at least later in the leveling)

ive been playing a lot of sniper in PvP and i think the ammo is fine in PvP because of the abundant ammo boxes. but idk about how it is in operations, i have yet to play sniper on operations so i won't comment on that. but i think it's fine on PvP

You shouldn't run into ammo issues as you finish leveling weapons and perks. The whole point is choosing when to blow up a HVT. Plent of missions will give you an ammo cache that you can just sit next to since you have accurate range. Also I don't understand people complaining sniper is undertuned. A good sniper will make ruthless a breeze with correct targeting and cloak management. You can reliably put elites into execute, stop hoard calls from a mile away, and melt bosses for your team while saving your teammates insane amount of ammo on elites.

i have yet to play operations much at all, only 1 match online as a heavy... but with all this stuff you're saying it's making me want to try out sniper on operations with people lol. ironically i thought sniper would be my least played class, and now here i am considering it as my main class in PvP, and thinking of using it in operations too.

I don't think I've ever run out of sniper ammo except for bosses. Are you only hitting headshots?

I posted another discussion about the sniper on higher difficulties under performing as well, and I noticed most are saying that you need x or y skill leveled up. I believe most of the early access players already have their guys leveled while the rest are still in the process of leveling. Substantial difficulty recommends level 10. You do not have any of the abilities to manage cloaking or significant headshot damage by that point. Basically, the consensus is that the sniper needs to be at max level to perform in substantial and ruthless regardless of the recommended level requirements?
