As someone who is completely new to the franchise I was pretty excited when i heard that they were going to add female space marines for the game, however it was brought to my attention that they were referring to the amazon series and not this game...... I am pretty disappointed as I thought it would be pretty cool to play as a badass female soldier but now I have essentially lost all interest :/ wish i could refund

As a serious answer though, I am sorry your biases are not allowing you to enjoy content. Perhaps consider the appeal behind it for others, and then try to be open minded about it instead of forcing your appeal into everything out there.

If you want female player characters so badly then campaign Saber to add in the Sisters of Battle as an option instead of trying to get GM to violate the lore again with another absurd retcon.
