Artificer Plasma Pistol

I have unlocked and mastered both purple plasma pistols but cannot see how I gain the last of the overall mastery, any ideas?

Your questions strangely worded. Level 1 weapons level 1 difficulty, level 2 weapons level 2 difficulty, level 3 weapons level 3 difficulty, level 4 weapons level 4 difficulty.

Then you just buy them and level them or pay to skip the leveling. Not sure what your not getting.

I have unlocked Both Purple Weapons and have mastered both. The overall Weapon Mastery bar located just above the weapons says I still require 375xp to be able to unlock relic weapons.
I am unsure what to do as both purple plasma pistols are maxed.

How did you even get to purple? I'm having the same problem at green, all 2 plasma pistols I can access are maxed, taking them on further missions doesn't give additional mastery, so how do I get the rest?

Mastery stops at a certain point but you will still need to gain general XP from completing missions to gain access to higher tiers, same as previous tiers. Mastery is the same as general XP progression but has a cap which unlocks a mastery token. You earn it by using the weapon or by skipping it by using the correct tier token.
