Dad of the Year !
I want to clarify that my daughter wrote a post on the forum, which has sparked several responses and comments. She has been influenced by the series and shows she has been watching, and it seems she feels quite passionate about expressing her views. I sincerely apologize if her post offended anyone; that was not her intention.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to explain everything in detail right now, but I will have a serious conversation with her about the impact of her words online. Thank you for your understanding.

I appreciate the feedback, even if it’s not all positive! 😅 I’m here because I genuinely believe that Space Marine 2 has incredible potential to be even better with more representation. I’m passionate about this game and want to see it thrive by being inclusive to all players, including women and the LGBTQ+ community.

Let’s celebrate diversity in gaming instead of spreading negativity! I’m all for open discussions and different opinions, so thank you for hearing me out. But let’s keep it respectful—there’s no need for any hate. We should be supporting each other in what we love! 💖
You know what all this garbage is? I'm calling it. You got right wing reactionary poes posing as cartoon versions of "sjws" that's triggering right wing reactionary trolls.

It's old. God. I can't wait for election season to end. You weirdos have literally been breaking a sweat trying so hard to make gamergate 2 happen and it's extremely lame.

There is a good game here worth actually talking about. It's sad that right wing tourist poes are bringing in their choreographed fight with right wing trolls and just crapping up the discussion.
Sisters of battle, sisters of silence, sororitas, high inquisiton. Ask for a game about these then.
your heresy will be your undoing. FOR THE EMPEROR!
where are all these people coming from?? is the Warhammer franchise your next past time to destroy? why do you do this to every good piece of entertainment. as your kind like to say "it's not for you"

However, this is for you. but not on your terms. accept it or move on. as we all have done, forever. if i don't like something, i don't try and change it to something i do like. it makes no sense. you act like naive girls why try and mold the badboy boyfriend into something he is not, then get surprised when he leaves.

Please, stop ruining our hobbies with your nonsense.
at some point, there will be repercussions.
doesnt really matter what you want tbh, this particular game is focusing on a male group, We would NOT be crying if it was a game about the sisters of battle. I still would have pre-ordered. This ♥♥♥♥ makes you look self centered and gross, go play something else.
Just wanted to add that my wife shares the same opinion as I do. She loves gaming with me, but she really struggles to immerse herself in games when playing as a male character, no matter how great they might be. For her, representation matters a lot, and it makes a huge difference in her gaming experience. She wants to share the excitement of Space Marine 2 with me, but having female characters would make it so much more enjoyable for her💖

It would not only appeal to a broader audience but also reflect the diversity of our world today.

This game is not set in today's world.

How familiar are you with Warhammer 40k lore? Assuming you have any experience with 40k lore, have you considered how your desires would impact the lore and universe building?

Personally, I don't feel any necessity for every story to reflect my idea of what a universe should be, as it seems that would homogenize all content creation into a rather bland and common narrative. In the context of the Warhammer 40k and its vast and robust universe creation, how do you feel your desire for greater female representation fits into the story? Are you familiar with the Adeptus Sororitas faction? Another post mentioned wanting to see more LGBTQ+ representation among Space Marines, how do you feel today's current LGBTQ+ narrative would fit in the context of an ultra-religious and bigoted empire that seems to wipe out anything it deems different or heretical?

I don't see any logical way for these ideas to fit into the Warhammer universe anymore than what the creators have already done. I don't see any value to adding these ideologies other than corporate pandering for more sales, which I am personally glad they didn't do. Adding current social and political discussions to this particular content is actively detrimental to the source material, in my opinion. Which is not a statement on any current social or political discussions, those aren't Warhammer 40K.

That is what you don't get, I don't feel represented in the game either and I am saying that being a straight white male. The world of warhammer or 40k does not get better/worse with more/less representation but whether or not that is actually believable and fits lore. Forcing something no matter what into a thing just to adress a certain group of people is not being inclusive but exploitive as you only care about those people as customers and not because you want to include them.

Create a world etc... that is believable and stop to change others. Also in 40k sisters of battle exist, Why is it I do not see men demand they want to be represented in it as well?
Google adepta sororitas, this is space marine 2 not adepta sororitas 2. Space Marines are created with the gene seed and organ modifications requiring male hormones and copious amounts of testosterone. Go away troll.
The kitchen demands your service, may the emperors light guide your dishwashing hands
Girls have Sisters of Silence, Sisters of Battle and even the most dangerous murder-death assassin. You also have a literal saint representing your gender.
Leave the boys alone

if the game play don't immerse you, a nice piece of tail won't do it mate.
there are no facial customisation options, i don't think the missus would be happy with a predefined character either. this is a slippery slope, but your foot down.
