No point in asking for female Space Marines
While I understand the need of certain types of people to play as a female Space Marine, it just is not going to happen. You just have to accept the fact that because of the lore, there simply aren't female Space Marines.

Take the Tomb Raider games for instance. The same could be said about that game; "I want to play as a male Tomb Raider! So why can't I play as Larry Croft??!?!1?"
We cannot because the Tomb Raider "lore" is about Lara Croft, a female character. Warhammer lore is about male only Space Marines, so that is something you have to deal with.

Females are portrayed in 40k lore. Sisters of Silence, Sisters of Battle, Inquisitors, some Eldar and various Guardswomen. Slaanesh is non-binary and Space Marines are all male. Nothing has to change. Perhaps they will make a third-person Sisters of Battle Shooter, where you can only play as a female. No point in men asking for a Brother of Battle option. It is just not an option.

The tabletop game, however, is a whole different story. How you paint and build your miniatures is all up to you. If you want female Space Marines in the tabletop version, no one is forbidding you as it is your hobby, your money and your miniatures. Hell, I even seen people plopping Hello Kitty heads on Space Marine miniatures!

Bottom line is, sometimes a game is made where you cannot select your gender, you just have to go with it. The tremendous flaming wars and bait threads are really not necessary, we all have different opinions and sometimes games which are true to the lore, just are not your cup of tea. All MMORPG's have female/male options, other games have only male/female options. It is just how the lore was written.

They're ca;;ed the sisters of battle. Why are so many people so focused on this? If you don't like Warhammer then play something else. Why are these people even here?

Factions wth females in Warhammer 40k

- Adeptus Mechanicus
- Aeldari
- Tau
- Drukhari
- Sister of Silence
- Sister of Battle
- Custodes
- Rogue Traders
- Factions of Necromunda
- Astra Militarum
- Leagues of Votann
- Necrons
- Tyrannids
- Genestealer Cults

Factions without females
- Space Marines
- orks

but in novels, all factions mix all the time, so... having Sororitas, is not a bad thing,

Should be mentioned that Orks aren't technically male either even if they admittedly have a very masculine behavior and culture (the original concept are based on football hooligans). They are a single gender species (Thus not male nor female).

It would be more reasonable to ask for a Sisters of Battle game than demanding a pretty significant retcon of the lore. Although, I suspect most of the players of such a game would be people who buys such a game because they love the 40K universe, not because the main character is the "correct" gender.

what retcon? they are in that universe, they can arrive as reinforcements, in the moment the chaos was there, this is more content, not less content .

people who love warhammer have their favorite faction, i have Sororitas, and Tau. and its not about gender, its about more options for play when they are already there.

this is "WARHAMMER 40K: Space Marine 2", its still Warhammer 40K

The Space Marine is Titus, not "Space Marines", so for OPs, it's ok.

"So why can't I play as Larry Croft??!?!1?"

You could. You could in Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness. His name was Kurtis Trent.
https://tombraider.fandom.com/wiki/Kurtis_Trent_(Original_Timeline)

He even looks like a male Lara too.

The problem with the Sororitas is Martyrdom is their main theme that they take too far. As such they're jobbers , in media they're there to die to the SM can swoop in and take the glory. Thats why theres periodically calls for Female Space Marines. Calls that seem to be getting louder the more mainstream 40k gets.

The worst part is the poor ♥♥♥♥♥ engaging in the circle jerk and giving people either the highest awards or 500 jesters.

Why is it even bait? People should be able to discuss this rationally. They did exist in the late 80's but were discontinued after a short trial. There were two prototypes released, the models were horrendous as the technology wasn't there to model females yet. Thats as far as it went. Again as soon as sisters of battle start existing for reasons other than to make space marines look good (the way Vegeta exists only to make Goku look good), then you probably wont see this come up again.
