but in novels, all factions mix all the time, so... having Sororitas, is not a bad thing,
Should be mentioned that Orks aren't technically male either even if they admittedly have a very masculine behavior and culture (the original concept are based on football hooligans). They are a single gender species (Thus not male nor female).
what retcon? they are in that universe, they can arrive as reinforcements, in the moment the chaos was there, this is more content, not less content .
people who love warhammer have their favorite faction, i have Sororitas, and Tau. and its not about gender, its about more options for play when they are already there.
this is "WARHAMMER 40K: Space Marine 2", its still Warhammer 40K
The Space Marine is Titus, not "Space Marines", so for OPs, it's ok.
You could. You could in Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness. His name was Kurtis Trent.

He even looks like a male Lara too.
The problem with the Sororitas is Martyrdom is their main theme that they take too far. As such they're jobbers , in media they're there to die to the SM can swoop in and take the glory. Thats why theres periodically calls for Female Space Marines. Calls that seem to be getting louder the more mainstream 40k gets.
The worst part is the poor ♥♥♥♥♥ engaging in the circle jerk and giving people either the highest awards or 500 jesters.
Never heard of it. So clearly no promotion.
