Reviews compared to the forum are a bit confusing :-/

I don't know, but I've read a lot of negative things about the game here in the forum, while the reviews praise the game beyond measure xD

I'm really excited to see what it will be like today, because after 13 years I obviously have to see it for myself today...

I saw some gameplay and I didn't like it very much and it didn't sound very good. What made me angry was the sound of the boltgun. Especially that one stalker boltgun that sounded like a silenced MP5. I really hope it was just these videos and it sounds different in game :-/

What also put me off are the extremely overshadowing parry and evasion popups. I mean, they blend in over all the enemies, it looks awful and breaks the immersion to say the least.

What I could also see is what many here in the forum have said, and that is perhaps what worries me the most. Combat feedback seems almost non-existent in the game. In the gameplays, they're shooting Chaos Marines in the head with boltguns and these guys are like, "Oh, a fly hit me, I might turn around and see where it came from..."

This was really shocking to see if I'm honest, I wonder how it feels in the game :-/

They don't need to own the game to troll the forums. They do need to own it to review it.

I talk about people wich spoke in detail about combat and other stuff, not some trolls wich simply said the game is bad without explaining why ;-)

I think you should wait for sale.
the grind for PVE coop is unreal so skip that.
the 6~15hr story isn't worth full retail price.
the combat feels too tedious imo. lots of short burst combats.

This game will be gutted player-wise within two weeks once content creators hype the new and next thing to get clicks. The combat looks amazing, but where is the content? What are people going to stick around for? What is there to grind for?They need to be adding co-op missions to the game next week, not next month or after. They're charging 60 to 100 bucks for this when Helldivers 2 launched at forty bucks and had way more replayability with immediate support from the devs content-wise. I know it's cool to hate that game, but it's the truth. You can bring up this game having a campaign, but it's just the potatoes before you eat your steak. I like potatoes, but I went to the steakhouse for steak.

Honestly not really that impressed with the game. The melee combat isn't very good and the gun play isn't very good either. Nothing to unlock as you go through the single player so your character is kind of static the entire time until you get to levels that you have different moves then you are right back to what you had before.

And the amount of doors and elevators is absurd. Like you will be standing there waiting for dialogue to finish or waiting for the AI to get closer before you can open it. It's one of those things where once you notice it you can't unsee it. It seems they put all progression into the other modes which is a shame IMO. A solid 7/10.

The source in this case is the "lack of".
The negative reviews (including mine) was flat out removed. And it wasnt by me.

The game itself is above average at best, the world and lore is what makes this game. If you are a warhammer 40k fan then you'll love this game, if you don't care if it was my little pony playhouse and are looking for a great game experience... you might need to keep looking.

It's by no means a bad game, it was fun, but I don't think it's a game Ill come back in the future to replay, neither was the first game either and I liked that game a lot as well.

Apparently the progression isn't very good in Co-op and you're doing the same waiting on elevators, etc. in the co-op missions.

you also need to measure the sunk cost falacy for each review tho!

That ain't a source and there sre negative reviews talking extensively about the game issues, we even got Asus rock reviews.
