Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

Ver estadísticas:
ABSOLUTE DESPERATION, NOTHING WORKS
It all started with cuts in the audio, in the cinematics, textures that look horrible and take forever to load or don't load at all...
After several adjustments, reinstalling, checking the possible solutions published by both Steam and Focus improved the cinematic part although the dialogue audio continues to cut out...
The worst thing is that it is impossible to play smoothly in any game mode.

My CPU is at 100%, it is true that it is not high-end but a priori it should throw the game away...not even configuring everything to the minimum and manually deactivating several functions of the graphics card can I get the game to work in any of its modes .
A bad wifi signal icon constantly appears in red at the top right and the character's movements are jerky or it freezes without doing the animation.
The tyranids come towards me sliding without moving or appear and disappear... I have tried absolutely everything and even reinstalled several times and I can't find the solution...
In 6vs6 mode all the players had less than 35 ping and I had 320, 260... it was crazy trying to play. It is not a network problem, I have done several tests and trials, I am connected by cable to 500 mb of fiber...
Let's hope it's something they solve soon because taking early access and only being able to see the customization...

My processor is an Intel Core i5-6500. Would this limitation be capable of causing all of the above?

Can someone in the same situation enlighten me and give me hope with the sacred light of the emperor?

This game, i'm not certain why, is VERY picky about where\what you install it on. I initially installed on external nvme drive, which works fantastic for all games before this. I have to move the installation files to a "normal" internal SSD drive for it to work correctly. Internal SSD is waaaay slower than my external nvme drive <shrugs>

Same here !!! Nothing is working. We are paying a lot of money and ??? Nothing except from "Sry, bug fix patches will come asap"-

If developers would test it seriously on UAT/ConUAT they would find those problems.

Do you comply with at least the minimum requirements?

Nobody seemed to read the i5-6500 part...

Not only is it an i5, but it's an ancient piece of tech from before the Horus Heresy

It's a four core chip, doesn't even have hyper threading, has a 65w chip that probably is hitting that thermal limit constantly meaning it would need to clock down from the boost clock of 3.60Ghz, the memory support is pretty lackluster too going only as high as 2133Mhz for DDR4 (hopefully you're running two sticks and not one...)

It's a huge bottleneck is what I'm saying

As for the wifi, that's on you

Also, what's your GPU?

I am aware that my processor and motherboard are at the limit of the minimum requirements.
I just want to know if this limitation is 100% causing all of the above... the signal issue doesn't make sense and from what I see, I'm not the only one who is having the same problems.
Here is my PC.
Thanks for the help battle brothers.

I have 3 hard drives, the old one and two SSD drives, where I have it installed on one of them.

Those are my suspicions, I just don't decide to buy a new one now because I see that there are people on the forums who have the same problems... I really don't know if there is bad optimization behind it as well.
I just bought the graphics card and I'm just waiting to see if it's totally necessary to replace the CPU right now.
Thank you

Try undo any undervolt or overclock.

This is what worked for me:
Set everything to LOW
Play in WINDOWED
Use with lossless scaling
worked really well

I'm in the exact same boat with similar hardware. I am just confused because I got through half the tutorial with no issues and then its constant
