cut scene and gameplay issue
Ok my PC is pretty good. i ask that you don't ask questions i'm a gamer not a tech guy my brothers put it together. But I know that my PC is more then capable of run this game and then some. For some reason even if I have the game set to the lowest quality in the settings the game in gamepaly and cut scenes the game runs slow. And it looks like it skips. I Don't the term for it but for example if a character is to move their head or you turn the camera is looks like the game is skipping. I got worse at the final boss fight and i questioned it the game was going to crash. Got somewhat better after i lowered everything but the game was still acting up. Just wondering if its just me, a bug, or something else. Any and all help would be gratefully appreciated.

This can be cause by not installing it on a SSD.
But people with high end CPU's have them running full when playing this game.
Maybe turn off a core in bios and try that.

Friend, this is exactly what happens to me...
My CPU is at 100%, it is true that it is not high-end but a priori it should throw the game away...not even configuring everything to the minimum and manually deactivating several functions of the graphics card can I get the game to work in any of its modes .
A bad wifi signal icon constantly appears in red at the top right and the character's movements are jerky or it freezes without doing the animation.
The tyranids come towards me sliding without moving or appear and disappear... I have tried absolutely everything and even reinstalled several times and I can't find the solution...
In 6vs6 mode all the players had less than 35 ping and I had 320, 260... it was crazy trying to play. It is not a network problem, I have done several tests and trials, I am connected by cable to 500 GB of fiber...
Let's hope it's something they solve soon because taking early access and only being able to see the customization...

Sounds like a frame time issue. What are your actual PC specs. If you know that we can help with a more specific answer as to why and what is happening.

I haven't had issues during actual gameplay, but I did have constant cutscene crashes. the thing that fixed it for me was turning off the Steam overlay.

oh wow. Thats interesting i would never expect the overlay to be honest. Now that you mention i have heard of people having issues with it in other games. I never actually used it before. What it for exactly? Is it like my AMD overlay for fps temps and clocks ?

That i have no idea how to do. When ever i have a problem my brothers know how to fix it. but i am at glad to know that its not just me. Well not 100% true I wish that no one had to go through this.

Ok y'all got a small update on the issue. i finally got the name of what it is called. Screen Tear. idk what causes it and idk how to fix it. now this is the main issue, the other issues i already stated im still looking into.

Ok y'all got a small update on the issue. i finally got the name of what it is called. Screen Tear. idk what causes it and idk how to fix it. now this is the main issue, the other issues i already stated im still looking into.
Screen tear happens when the gpu can't keep up with providing the frames requested by the cpu or the cpu can't keep up with the frames required by the game.

no matter how certain you are that your pc is 'more than capable' the evidence of the game not running, even at its lowest settings, contradicts your assertion.

we can either teach you how to be the "tech guy" so you understand why it wont run ( and possibly have you tell us that cant be right) or you can get your brother to explain the contradiction between what I imagine is him telling you its more than capable and the evidence that its not capable.

TL:DR; If you aren't tech enough to be able to tell us the specs of your PC, then you are not qualified to declare your PC is "more than capable" to run anything.
