Can we do something about ammo?
I've been playing Sniper, and I feel like the only time I get to let loose and actually shoot something is when I'm sitting on top of a resupply box. Any other time, I have to basically settle for weakening Warriors for the melee players to finish off rather than continue sniping them, because if I don't a Carnifex will show up, and all I got is a bolt pistol and my limp ♥♥♥♥ in an area with no ammo pickups.

If I gotta pop a Warrior three times in the head to actually kill it, I want the ammo reserves to actually facilitate doing that (i.e. my job), and especially if that's my one and only real contribution to the team.

Yeah, I think it's kind of weird how they did Ammo...like the whole scrounging around for ammo thing just hurts game play...maybe they can make it so head shot kill refund a certain amount of ammo?
I do kinda wonder what the point of limited ammo is. Kinda just makes certain weapons unusable for certain classes to.

You guys need to check out the perks cause there is multiple way to get more ammo.
Theres one that ressuply 1 ammo when you do a multi kill and you can pair it with another one that heals you, when you get lvl up your character its way more easier. Keep the sniper for the warriors until you have good perks and play lower difficulty.

Weakening them for the melee is an absolutely perfect strat and I have no idea why you are complaining :) We melee thank you. Don't be competitive on the kills here, you are doing a massive tactical improvement for your team by giving them free armor bars and iframes.

Even so, there is just too little ammo.

If the weapons dealt a lot more damage, the amount of ammo would be fine, but for how low their damage is, we need more ammo.

Either increase the ammo or increase damage.
Ammo reserves and resupplies are way too low given how many shots are required to down low and mid tier enemies. Bolts should be ripping gaunts apart no problem, and warriors shouldn't require a ton of shots either. Higher tier ♥♥♥♥, yeah. But not the mid to low stuff.
Only time I feel confident in going a shooting class is if the other two members are melee
That's why I'm glad the meta is skipping everything. I rarely need to pick up ammo. Only big boxes (which have pretty much fixed spots even on ruthless).

Why the heck would you steal Armour regeneration from the melee guys by sniping an executable Warrior?
Not only is it a waste of ammo, You're also indirectly killing your squad mates by limiting the targets they can gain Armour back from.

Only time i'll ever finish off something that's executable is when the team is nowhere near it and would recover before anyone could get to it.
And ill sure as hell not do it when there's a Bulwark standing next to it.

Do you have any idea how easy it makes a Bulwarks life when he has multiple executable Warriors next to him to blow through in the middle of a swarm?
The smoothest runs I've had as a Heavy was just ensuring that elites got executed by the melee guys.
I could absolutely have continued throwing another 20 rounds into those targets each time to secure a personal kill...
But why would i? They get armour back and i get to save ammo.
Don't rely on your sniper rifle so much. Use melee and pistols more often, and also just hang in there. Sniper is probably one of, if not THE strongest classes in the game, but it's a very late bloomer, it depends heavily on late game perks, letting you stack upwards of ~70% bonus damage on headshots so you can one shot warriors even in ruthless difficulty.
So many things wrong with the game right now.
-No stat upgrades while levelling? Just unlocking selectable perks that cannot be all used at the same time. What's the point of levelling up then?
-Ammo shortages, especially when ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ coop teamembers steal the ammo boxes.
No skills to replenish health, just armor. And medpacks at higher level are more frequent than unicorns.
-Bulwark with a shield that looks pretty but is useless. I mean if it does not help your health or armor why lose the primary weapon to it? Wtf is that all about.
-Ranged classes on a zerg game? I mean how can you keep a swarm off the heavy or the sniper? Melee have no ways of controlling aggro.
-Artificer data is currently next to unobtainable, every time you try to join a "substantial difficulty" operation you get matched with lvl 3 teammates.
Requisition points for perks is a joke. I guess it's allright for armor customizations. But imagine trying to level up all weapons for the Tactical class.... I mean come on.

Just use Las Fusil as a sniper? It literally one/ two shots most elites, if you hit the headshot. And you should never finish them off, I rarely have ammo problems as a Sniper on 15th level right now.

How about no?
It is expected that people eventually reach max level even if you were playing on trivial 24/7.
