Individualized class flavor... obviously
Thus no, Power Sword on Assault sounds terrible.
I feel like there's nothing it does that another class cant do much better, with much higher survival rate.
The Assault class is a great class against Tyranids. I think this class is only 100% effective against Tyranids. Against Chaosites Assault class is noticeably weak in my opinion. It collects damage with its face almost all the time.
Squad leader assaults (IE Sergeant) had access to better weaponry than the 9 guys under their command. Do you think the Assault you are playing in game is the Sergeant of the other 5 classes? Do you think that because they are named for game purposes, they are somehow special characters in the TT sense?
So which is it? Should all classes have all weapons and ignore TT rules completely, or is everyone playing a Sergeant, Lieutenant, or Captain in a 3 man squad composed of only Sergeants, Lieutenants, and Captains?
