Next enemy (Spoilers)
It’s obviously Necrons. We’re on a freaking Tomb World. And they’re not going to be to happy about us playing with their technology.

I imagine that will lead us to the next class Techmarines. Honestly I hated how short the story was. I was there was more, and while I liked the switch up of enemies I wanted this game to really focus on the Tyranids.

If I had development powers instead of “the arch enemies” we would have had to have dealt with a Genestealer uprising across the system. The Thousand Sons felt really shoe horned into the game and story.

how is it obvious? you leave the planet at the end.

if chaos showing up feels shoe horned you should play the first game, this is a direct sequel to the story it's not stand alone.

new content will come in the form of operations. The operations characters did not leave the planet and can do missions post campaign timeline.

Honestly i'd rather it be them compared to just more Khorne.

Darktide and Vermintide got Nurgle.

and Slaanesh...dunno if they can get away with Slaanesh.

I mean Total War did it but...

I am getting really tired of 40K devs being too scared to go full slaneesh up in here.

40k is way to mainstream nowadays to get away with full slaanesh or dark eldar.

I really hope that is not the case, though it's likely the scenario, which will be very disappointing, IMO

Correction: You do come across and fight both in Rogue Trader. GW can and will find a way, granted if the devs they work with know how to write it well without just devolving into shock value for shock value's sake.

you really can't go much beyond BDSM outfits if you are mainstream. maybe the occasional visual scene on the level of saw. and obviously any sexual stuff has to be offscreen to not be considered corn.

Anything but chaos and i would be a happy champ regarding foes.

I really wanted something focused purely on Tyranids. Especially with all their new models… The Norn Emmisary for instance. The haruspex. And the new Genestealer faction. I wanted to go into the guts/bowls of a hive city and hunt a patriarch as the Tyranids approached the cults rose up for ascension day. Not every game has to be around chaos being the BBEG… considering all the new Tyranid lore and them being more or less an equal or greater threat than chaos itself

None of this will happen and if its not blantantly obvious the game was a scam from the start , you dont even get your own marine

yeah, the moment the reveal happened. I had good thought that about the next enemy is probably going to be Necrons and if it isn't the other possible enemy faction is probably Orks because of the first game. Since it's a familiar foe all they have to do is take direct inspiration on how the enemy moves in the previous game.
