High CPU and GPU usage on Low Graphics settings

No matter what I change my graphic settings to I have 80% utilization on my CPU and 75% Utilization on my GPU just sitting in the Menu. On top of that when I actually get into the game and start playing my CPU immediately goes up to 100% utilization and crashes. I have a Ryzen 5 9600x and a Radeon RX 7900XT so I have above min and recommended specs. I am really frustrated at this and just want to purge heretical things in the name of the emperor.

yeah man, same issue. I got the same GPU and the the usage is around 70% and keep crashing after one hour of play. Even lowering the game's settings makes no difference.
I recommend changing the "gaming experience" on AMD software, it's under Gaming tab, change this setting to HYPR-RX Eco. Also change the render resolution in SM2 setting, don't have it on dynamic or lower "Dynamic resolution Fps target" but change it to native or quality. turn on v-sync and cap your fps.

i have Ryzen 5 5600G and RX 6600 spend a lot of time to find some settings which makes the game look good and having kind of a smooth gameplay, i got 7 hours into the game now without even crashing once. but i was quite surprised it would be such a struggle to get some decent settings, and tbh it's far from where i want it to be. so hopefully they will find a solution soon for the ones which are having the same issues!

This guide helps you fix your high CPU temps. The high CPU usage is heating your CPU too much.

You have to use the AMD Adrenalin software metrics overlay to see how high the game boosts your CPU.

Then by using the guide, limit your maximum boost clock about 300-400 Mhz lower than where the game makes it normally boost to. For example if it's boosting it to 5 Ghz, set the limit to 4700 in the advanced power plan settings after you enable the limit setting like the guide shows you.

I've already given up on playing this game
