Worth it?

At teh moment i am standing between this or Wukong

So i am wondring if the price tag now is worth it for the 7-10 hours campaign. Since i dont have anyone to play Co-op or online with at the moment. So is it better to wait or is it still worth it?

Wukong is a vastly different but vastly better game.

This is not worth the price tag at all, and is definitely quite a mediocre game.

If all you're going to play is the campaign, definitely not worth it. The meat of the game is in the multiplayer modes.

Incredibly different games, I'd say both are worth it for different reasons but if your going into this looking for a long single player its not that, is it satisfying? yes but not long. After that you have rinse and repeat online content.

Only worth it if you're interested in the mp, sp is great but there's no progression to it so there's little replayability in that regard.

Is it worth $60? yes, is it worth $90-$100? probably not.

Wukong is very different game, but if you want SP game, Wukong is definitely MUCH LONGER so $ per hour MUCH MORE efficient! I spent like 20h and still in chapter 2 (of 6 if I know well)... But Wukong is slasher with Dark Souls elements, as it is Boss rush game the most.

P.S. Space Marine is 50$ here and Wukong 60$.

Presentation and atmosphere is top notch. However gameplay leaves A LOT TO BE DESIRED IN 2024. Controls are atrocious, all that people say about AI of companions is very true (they're total useless dumbasses, and feel like bland placeholders, and not your battle-brothers). Guns feel very underwhelming (imagine you might put ~100 rounds from a heavy bolter in tyranid warrior and he doesn't really care. I played single player only, and it's pretty bad unfortunately. Nothing they can't turn around though. I hope.

To add more to this

Lack of FOV slider
No change shoulder view button/function
Navigating the UI is a bit of a mess to get used to at the start to get between modes and features
Movement is slow, space marines are not meant to be as slow as the game portraits it
The counter block for attacks that get highlighted by a blue circle is not that consistent


MP has very few maps
MP unlockable content is non existent for the chaos marines, apart from some colours you are basically stuck on default appearance while space marines has a good number of unlockables
No perks/traits for MP like original Space marine
