anyone able to make a ps4 controller to work with this game?

tried disabling steam input in properties and still not working. tried launching the game with big picture mode and still not working. these are the solutions I found online and none of them work.

Try setting it up with ds5?

I used to use ds3 a lot back in the day, tho can’t vouch for newer versions. Third party input mapping tool for duel shock controllers if don’t know, just google “ps5 controller on pc dstools”

tried it as well and still doesn't work. this is the only game so far that my controller just doesn't work with.

Having this same issue with an Xbox controller, its wired, is recognised by steam and after testing is able to be used as default on every other game in my library. Restarted the game and still is only able to be played with mouse and keyboard. Hope there's an answer or fix for this.

was able to solve it by going to steam setting - controller then disable steam input.

this game doesn't allow controller customization outside of the built in mapping options

I made progress, what I did was I removed the controller from my PC's known connections and reconnect it with it plugged in.

-Forget device in bluetooth settings
-Start the game
-Enable steam input
-Turn on controller with it plugged in
-Confirm it works while connected
-Disconnect
-Connect via bluetooth
-Test again in game

Hope that works
