Graphics won't change
Anyone else encountering a issue where the graphics look the same no matter what settings you put? Doesn't matter if i set it to low or ultra everything looks low res and fps doesn't change significantly. The only difference is that on high settings character models don't render

yea this is an issue some of us have. models dont render on some settings and on some maps, claymation textures that don't improve with the settings.

Same. There is a 3-5 fps difference for me on ultra settings vs low settings on 1440p and 1080p. Tested for the fun of it and laughed afterwards.

Anyone else remember when lowering settings in games actually improved performance?

Are you certain you don't have one of the dodgy upscalers on, like FSR/DLSS etc, like up-scaling 1280x720 to fit a 4k monitor potato mode, they often look pretty dodgy unless something like quality is selected or better yet avoid that issue with native where possible, if you're encountering invisible stuff, whats your VRAM and video cache set to?

I'm using FSR 2 on a 4k monitor, playing on a fairly high resolution though not full 4k, in windowed mode. I have not encountered any issues like these, I've been using the default graphics settings the game gave me which were mostly high with a couple things set to medium.

I'd suggest trying native, just temporarily to see if that fixes the issues your seeing, not as a solution but to at least to narrow down the issue, if that instantly fixes it it lends weight to asking for a fix if you already identify it.

I've tried all settings and native. Textures are low res no matter what, they look worse than what the graphics preview shows for low. Models randomly go invisible unless it's set to all low. Changing settings, like from high to low and vice versa, will temporarily make models appear again but never lasts. I got 4gb vram and cache is whatever the default is. I run most games fine. Been playing helldivers 2 fine. This game just doesn't seem to be working right

I have an issue where regardless of my settings, the fps barely changes

Even at 800x600 or at 4k. Im getting same 75fps

Vsync is off etc etc

I have absolutely the same problem on a 2022 laptop 3050Ti

DLSS or TAA, native or adaptive resolution, nothing changes the texture quality.
Fanatizm_mmm Sep 9, 2024 @ 12:09pm
Same, 3050 ti.

3050's are 4 GB VRAM cards, might be part of the issue. I know invisible characters/enemies seem to be related to that.

my card isn't the issue. the game is. if literally every other game can run fine and not have rendering issues, then this game is just broken. its pathetic

RTX 2050. its low end i know, but there's no reason why there should be rendering issues like this. its like the game is refusing to change settings because of the low vram and is also refusing to use shared memory, despite it never going above 80% vram.
