Beware of losing all progress

Accidentally clicked start new game on my 13hour gameplay but I immediately Alt F4 due to I using controller on PC . Guess what I lose all my freaking unlock etc and game progress. Nice one Saber.

To be fair, not having a confirm window for something like that and for equipping weapons in ops is a little wonk, but yeah basically user error.

To be fair, OP hitting ALT F4 may have a history of not doing the smartest things.

Remark was using controller on pc, somehow my ''mouse'' accidentally clicked on new game, as i was spamming x key to load faster and skip all intro. Is my fault but still, just a fair warning for ppl like me...

All kidding aside, it should not impact your operations progress Id hope? As thats a seperate game mode.

It an unfortunate trend that nobody asked for over the last few years, one character, one save, want another, buy the whole game again on another platform. First game I encountered it on was Elite D, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ move unfortunately. With any luck copy/paste local saves will work.

It's 100% dev error when the option has zero confirmation nor warning of whats going to happen.
A simple confirmation box that says "Warning: New Game will reset all progress. Continue?" with an option to say no is what should happen.

Especially when the game likes to default the selected button to New Game instead of Continue.
Accidents happen, and instantly wiping your save the instant you click the button is not good UI design.
Game doesn't even warn you that there is only 1 save slot, lol.

if there is not a pop up warning you that you lose everything and a confirmation, YES!!!
New game does not imply AT ALL that is substitutes your existing game and progress, only that you have a new one.

That is common behavor and functionality in games for decades!

Same thing happened to me. Its so easy for it to happen w/ me too because every time I launch it gets stuck on the Press Enter so i'm spamming and clicking. Not only that but not having multiple profiles seems like a miss step.

Yep, just happened to me to. I was on the last campaign level before my progress was wiped. Definitely user error but not having a warning box is unusual and left me with a bad user experience. 😟 shame as in almost every other way the games amazing
