Fix for disappearing textures and models .. DEVS still need to address but ...
I, like many others, have been having issues where the character models suddenly stop rendering (invisible) where sometimes only the space marine bolter is rendered floating in the air, sometimes it isn't. Sometimes the thunderhawks are partially modelled, sometimes the tyranids are invisible so you are fighting invisible enemies....

yeah, it all is pretty horrible and makes the game unplayable. The fixes so far have been rebooting over and over, switching the video settings to just about any other setting that forces it to rerender ... but those all only fixed the issues for a few minutes.

The only thing that has worked for me in fixing the issue long term is to go to windowed mode and decrease the screen size to about 1400. Sucks because I only get to see the game on a portion of my screen and everything is smaller but at least in my last session I made it through a whole chapter without the invisible bug.

I have a 12th Gen I7 and 3050 Nvidia and SSD. Game should be running much smoother in my opinion, needs some SERIOUS optimization on the graphics from the developers.

well thats low to mid end gaming pc, cpu isint enough cant render through in time, check ur nvidia control panel and change the shaders option to unlimited it will help you.

If I'm remembering correctly the 3050 is a 4 GB VRAM card, I'm leaning into believing the 'invisible' issue is directly related to lower VRAM, as Holi said, shader cache should help a lot but I'd confirm you aren't getting the VRAM warning in settings of the game also. Additionally, hopefully they will optimise it further for those with issues but as everyone knows, nothing is guaranteed.

Yeah I've attempted a whole slew of different approaches to get it running on my lower end rig. Its somewhat worked but the horrible textures and invisible characters/enemies/world, are very much still an issue. The thing that irks me is I've been able to run most if not all recent game releases fairly well and with pretty good looking graphics at that. So im not sure what makes this game so different in that regard.

As for my list of fixes that have it running smooth, but with awful visuals.
>Low to Mid Settings
>Turn off Steam overlay
>Turn off crossplay
>Going windowed mode, Lowering your res greatly, and using a lossless upscaler program
>Setting your shader cache to unlimited
>Lower your max frames to 60 or even 30
>And of course restarting the game and your pc as needed

Course even with all these it can be...iffy. The biggest bottleneck is probably VRAM for most folk, and theres no real way to help that. Still sad that this game seems to be the wall for what my system has been able to handle but I spose with the enemy hordes its not the most surprising thing.

Yeah I'm also pretty frustrated about the fact that every other recent game I can run on high graphics but this one cant render a single thing, was barely able to get past the intro mission and certainly haven't gotten past the first third of the Kadaku mission, praying that the devs release a beefy patch to help with performance...

Yeah, it’s definitely an issue with their optimization. How can every other recent game be no issue and this one suddenly can’t render? If it was the rig it’d be on multiple games, not just this one. Plus, the inconsistency on what fixes it also points to a software not hardware issue.

i hate the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimization in this game

12th gen i7 and a 3050? Sounds like a laptop. The game simply doesn't work correctly on only 4 GB VRAM, it's also below the minimum requirement.

i genuinely hate when devs do this, rather making everything looks potato for the sake of smoothness, let us suffer a bit of stuttering with a decent texture, i cannot play Alan Wake 2 because of texture issue too
