Whats up with PVP?

Is there not any rewards hardly worth getting for pvp. I got to rank 4 and after seeing what I get i think i'm going to quit. I do not think there is anything much worth getting in the later end. No perks or anything that I seen. What is the point. Also it looked liked a total simulation just like PVE.

There is no progression system in pvp and no customization. You do get a different weapon unlock depending on class but that's about it. They do plan to expand on it according to the roadmap, but it only happens in season 3.

PVP is its own reward. PVP to PVP. you need a reason to PVP? Either you like to pvp or you don't.

the pvp is awful anyway. i'm just doing all pvp related achievements then probably never touching it again

The original space marine had cosmetics you could only unlock by playing PvP, and separate cosmetics for PvE. You could wear both in either mode, but could only unlock them by achieving certain feats while playing one or the other. The original space marine came out in 2011, and it wasn’t platform as a service.
