Is multiplayer dead already?

Sitting here for what feels like hours waiting for someone to join lobby or something... I have crossplay on, sometimes I'll get some xbox players but they don't seem to load in. I got finally got 1 PS player, just for him to bail out. I guess it was because I'm literally lvl 1, but I can't find a lobby to play in and I refuse to do bots.

SM1 multiplayer was active for 13 years.

There seems to be an issue where you just do not get connected to matchmaking server. I see it happen in PVE and PVP. You click quick play and you just sit there. If that happens, quit to desktop, load back in. If you do not get paired almost instantly, you're not connected to the matchmaking server correctly.

Quit to desktop, load back in.

Hopefully they fix that ♥♥♥♥ Tuesday.

Im not sure what difficulty you are trying to play on but I have noticed a massive difference in the amount of players on Ruthless (very few) compared to say Average. Mayhaps that is the issue for you. Also maybe latency is too high? If you're quickplaying on minimal or average though, you should be getting lobbies easily.

Playing on minimal because that's the recommended for level 1-5s. I've been thinking of bumping it up if it means more reliable match making though.
