Can you actually play on an HDD or is an SSD mandatory?

Wondering bc i've seen some people saying they can't get past the first cutscene or else their game would crash when playing on an HDD.
Is it a bug or is it really mandatory to use an SSD to play this title?

Everyone PC gaming needs to be using an SSD by now. They are so cheap that there is no excuse to not have one in your system.

That's basically what i wanted to hear, it felt quite weird that the game couldn't work on an hdd. And the issue doesn't affect me since i use 2 ssds, i was actually asking for a friend lol ty for letting me know btw.

I agree, i'm a firm believer that hdds will be gone someday. But some of my friends live in Argentina and their currency is so bad that what it's cheap to other countries to them it's unaffordable.

i think its the same like wu kong wehn you instal it on a hdd ... the loadingtime will become significant longer
