The Matchmaking Sucks
And by this i do not mean the ability to team up, i mean if you are playing as a sniper and you logged for a game it should not then find you a game with another sniper and then tell you to pick another class, umm nope.

Now let me get this bit straight, this part of matching up is pretty vital to the game not to have 2 of the same class, all the people wanting this have just straight up not thought this through at all, the buffs you get for the whole team goes far beyond just their class ability, their whole class tree gives massive buffs to the whole team, if you were to have 3 of the same class you are gonna get like 2 buffs instead of the 3 team perks from their class tree and their actual class abilitys , thats like saying yeah ill run a marathon but first cut off my legs, really dumb, but it should just flat out not match you up with people that are already in the battle and they are the same class.

I have seen people say start your own lobby, do this, do that, this is not how it works, you pick a mission and it either makes you the leader or not, 1 outa 3 chance, if you choose quickplay and this is the big disappointment 9 times out of 10 it will put you into a match with 2 other people already in the level and 1 of them will have your class you are trying to use, absolute time wasting and pointless, it should check and if they are the same class pass you onto the next peeps needing an extra and so on.

People would rather wait like a minute or 2 rather than having to go into the game and either use a class they do not want to use or have to quit out and try over and over and over.

Or even better have a server finder like deep rock where you can see what classes are in there already and which classes are open.

Agreed. It doesn't help that most players are horrendous either for when you finally get into a match.

I agree with that one mate, tried getting into groups for getting the purple bits for the guns, match up and they are logging for it at lvl 1, oh it does not matter, yeah it big time does LOL, all that damage and blocking ability they are missing plus the buffs they are missing to make that harder content go smoother, logging at lvl 1 for Substantial difficulty is just spitting in your teammates face right off the bat. In a private group go ham lol do whatever but in public matchmaking thats a kick in the gonads for ya teammates.

I had to leave one match instantly where i noticed they were lvl 1 and had died to the first 2 enemies already, straight off the ship, that woulda been a whole hour of repeatedly picking them up or doing it solo because they were dead dead.

Some classes together will have a harder time slightly than other combos, what are you matching for ?, the amount of people i see logging for hard content at level 1 is ridiculous, it is not the type of game where the other 2 can just carry through it, especially if they are also not geared up, if it's pvp dont even bother its swarmed with cheaters already.

The game has officially been out for one day. Give players a chance to learn how to play and figure out how the classes work.
People are slowly learning that sticking together is the best strategy. I mostly play TDM because I feel like playing an OBJ on top of learning how to play the game is just too much for the average person, so you’ll have a pretty rough time with a team like that.

The game has been out officially for one day (not including early release). Not everyone is a mega gamer. Give people a chance to learn how the classes work and how to play. My advice would be just stick to TDM until people figure out what’s what.
From what I see I don’t think the game has SBMM which is a good thing. It keeps things fair. I generally go positive in my games but unfortunately usually lose, which is fine, I still get XP and still have fun. But compared to a game like call of duty, where if you do good in one match, it puts you up against kids who have been snorting G fuel all day and haven’t seen grass in two years.
I work and have a kid, so I appreciate the semi laid back experience SM2 has to offer.
TL;DR give people a chance to improve.

The problem is many of the unlockable items in this game are TIED TO WINS. I get that people are new, but how in the unholy Nurgle's left ballsack are you supposed to consistently get items, when the game is rigging all the matches to make you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lose?

The only thing i find super annoying that they seem to be changing is if you log as say a vanguard and it teams you up mid match it will take you to a class select screen where the class you chose is now gone, on this screen it should allow you to exit but it does not, forcing you to choose a class you do not want to use and then most probably exit once you are in with them, even though you have done all this you are now a different class still and have to go to the armoury to change it, all this is a massive amount of wasted time to the player.
