Stuck on "Joining Server"

I have about 6 hours in the game, I've only played the tutorial and have managed to get into about 4-5 Eternal War matches and 1 Operation. Whether I'm trying to play with my friends or play solo most of the time I get stuck on "Joining Server" and it won't load me into the game. So much for 4 day early access, can't even take advantage of it and play multiplayer.

EDIT: Even after Hotfix 2.1 dropped today still experiencing the same issue. Loaded into the game and attempted to join a party with my friend and got stuck on "Joining Server" once again.

Same my friend. The only temporary and not reliable fix I found is using VPN that is close to location of another player for COOP and praying for PVP

[Why Bother]

I've found transferring host works. I've read disabling cross play fixed it for some but no luck for me.

I have had no luck with PvP yet, but IO want to try it

This 100% fixes multiplayer match making for me, thought it might be due to DNS Servers but even adjusting them it did not work, so it must be something with my ISP and whoever is hosting the game servers

Turn off crossplay but yeah, also the servers are overloaded I think. Haven't had a group with more than one other dude in it for hours.

I've been using Radmin VPN to open a VPN tunnel to my friends so we can play Operations and Campaign with no issue. Still praying when I join PvP though. I did try and disable crossplay but it doesn't seem to fix anything.

I too cannot find groups. Crossplay makes no difference, on or off. I thought everyone just quit. lol

I seem to be finding full matches but once the game launches I get stuck on the map loading screen.

Agreed the server issue is really annoying, wish they'd give some update on wtf is happening

im saying, i have had to alt f4 this game so many times because of this very reason.

1 match alt+f4 repeat. I hope they fix soon

Yep, they need to implement a timeout, and let us quit the game too, freezes every time I quit.

One of my friends and I can play together no problem but our third friend has all sorts of issues joining our game. He often gets stuck in an infinite loading screen when we launch the mission or gets disconnected during the mission. His internet is fine. We’ve tried disabling cross-play. The only thing that seems to work some of the time is if he hosts. Then, maybe half the time, the game actually starts. Meanwhile my other friend and I can play fine 100% of the time. Weird.

+1 can't join matches any longer, stuck on joining server. also have to force close game as only solution for unresponsive connections. i've never used the task manager this much.
