Campaign may be "short"
Honestly though - Took me roughly 11 hours to get through. It's not so much the hours it took but the fact that I was completely immersed the entire time. Not many games can create that, especially ones that are very linear in storied campaign.

So out of respect, I sat through the entire credits.

To pull that off with a game that has very little lack of incentive to explore is not easy to accomplish.

Good work.

Out of curiosity what difficulty were you on?

Im assuming the youtubers that everyone was moaning about completing the campaign fast were deffo not playing on AOD difficulty.

Normal through majority of campaign.

play the next difficulty up for a more Warhammer game experience (almost on level with the tabletop) or play the Hardest game mode which will give you the exact table top experience... it will slow your progress significantly and make you have to think more tactically. Developers definitely based their game off Table Top rule book for inspiration and the monsters and enemies are built just like they would be... game is stupid difficult lmao and i main as a bulwark...

I agree, 10 hours feels about right for a game like this, it's totally immersive and the battles very epic. The cutscenes also had me in awe especially near the end. The multiplayer is also surprisingly good so it's totally worth the price. I would actually upgrade to the deluxe edition if they had an upgrade available just because of how fun I'm having with the game.

10 to 12 I can live with seeing as its a little repetitive, if they do put out the solo ops patch in a month or so it will help with the longevity a bit. That said, if people are capable of modding it to allow full customisation in the campaign I'd be more inclined to replay that occasionally. For that I'd happily abandon all the online only crap and disable EAC.
If its really 11 hours for me i be happy. Because others finished it in under 6 hours, most people in 8 acording to this site here ...

took me 8 hours for story we have also 6 pve misions for that price its kinda sad combat suck tho
I enjoyed most of it but the bots made certain objectives tedious.

Yeah perhaps down the road I'll boost the difficulty end of it :). Just a habit of mine to beat games on normal before I progress to harder difficulties.

It reminds me a lot of the first gears. I want to get to know the squad, and the story has me eating popcorn and paying attention.

Best storytelling narrative so far this year.
About 10-12 hours to complete it for me, first few missions on veteran, then dropped to normal with the lictor, ai seemed to be way better for some reason (after dropping), though there was also a small patch in between.

took me 7.5 h on veteran to finish ,later stage hostiles were a joke compared to the nyds . swarms can be so unfair , it was always the little guy killing me out of nowhere

Never was big into gears but I agree 100% on the story!
