Has coop with friends actually worked for anyone?

I can quick play and play with randoms, but I can't play with any friends. The moment the ship takes off in the cut scene, it goes to a black screen and takes us back to the barge where we can't do anything lol.

My game crashes instant if my friend trys to join, and her game also crashes. we are never bne able to play toghether, but with randoms works

I have problem with operations... game doesn't pair me with other players and also don't put others in my lobby.:(

Its so weird, Im getting something similar to that.

Co-op is kinda busted. It works, but you can't join your friend on the battle barge, you have to wait until they're in mission to invite. You can't consistently join a game, play through watching all cut scenes as a group and have game progress save across all ?
Seems to often crash whenever there's a cut scene involving coming/going from the battle barge.

i had this issue disabling steam overlay steam cloud and turning off crossplay fixed the issue for me

Co op with a friend works fine for me but in my experience, you can't just join from the steam friends list. You have to start the game and load into your own instance before joining on a friend.

Haven't had any issues joining rando games.
