Lossless scaling and reshade is amazing in this game
Smooth as butter with lossless and the reshade from nexus mods helps alot with the colors and haze etc.

I agree. I play on 4k ultra. Fiddled around with the in-game upscaling methods but fsr2 made the faces artifact during cutscenes (AMD card). Then I remembered I have lossless scaling and tried that. LS1 with sharpening 25% and I don't remember which frame generation it was but I put it on 2x mode. Performance off for upscaling and FG. Capped at 144 fps for the entire campaign. i've tried to use reshade for this game, but for some reason, it doesn't actually use reshade after i "install it" to the .exe, and there are 3 .exe files to choose from, which one does it go on??

hello can you share Lossless scaling settings ?

Reshade needs to use the retail .exe I believe.

Is lossless scaling a AMD thing?

No, it's an application listed on the Steam store.

Nvidia DLSS is pretty much the same thing but different. FSR2 is AMD but can be used on any card.

For 4k Id probably recommend settings FSR2 to Dynamic and go down to MAX FPS and set the max FPS target. It will down scale to meet target FPS.

None of the in game settings have Frame Gen, FSR3 has it, apparently coming soon.

If your using AMD card I'd recommend getting preview drivers of AMFM2 (FrameGen) and using that in conjunction with lossless. You could get much better quality at higher frame rate.

You do realise the app is the same thing that's provided in game with a different stick. aka it's the same thing done a different way. Why spend more money for no real reason?

I've got a 4000 series GPU so I use DLSS. I've never tested lossless scaling and don't know much about it compared to FSR, except that it exists.
