How do you leave the PvP queue?

How do you leave PvP? I played a few games, got back to the Battle Barge and nothing seemed to let me actually leave PvP. No option on the Tab screen, Esc does nothing. What freaking key lets you leave the queue? (Besides Alt+f4 followed by Ctrl Alt Del to kill the process?)

The UI between modes is incredibly obscure. I WANT TO STOP PLAYING THE GAME SOMETIMES.

it pops up in the bottom left corner after a match or just when it starts searching for more players.

Actually no the U key doesn't even work if it's decided to start the next match already.

Anyone has a solution to this?? I had to enter a match and quit the game from the pause menu yesterday...

Yeah i just constantly get "starting game" after one finishes so I'm forever playing this broken ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pvp mode.

yeah the keybinds in this game are weird.

I've had to alt-f4 a few times here. U doesn't always work. There could be a sporadic bug involved as well. Hopefully after a patch all two it'll all be good. I hate leaving games once i've entered them, but I got real life things to do as well!

U can't if you get joined immediately. Alt f4 is the only way

Everything about the intergame menus and interface is one of the whackiest I've ever seen. How is it possible to play this game and not be frustrated with the near nonexistent ability to control/customize group finding. Players should be able to see each other and chat on the ships like an MMO.
The game itself is a blast to play but I for one want to find groups easier. Sucks getting stuck with NPCs and having to eat a ♥♥♥♥ sandwich in dealing with them.

Closing the game itself as the only option? Wild AF, polish that turd up homies.
