Game crashing on startup
I have launched the game before, I've played through the intro section, but now whenever
I launch the game it freezes at the seizure warning and then crashes, this issue has persisted
through:
1) Restarting the game
2) Restarting my PC
3) uninstalling and reinstalling the game (it was originally on SSD and I reinstalled it on SSD)
4) deleting all Epic services from my pc to reinstall upon launch again
5) turning off any and all overlay apps on my computer
6) Validating game files
7) Adding Space Marine 2 to anti-virus exceptions
8) running as an administrator
9) running from the installation folder
10) deleting Easy Anti Cheat for it to be reinstalled at launch
11) Running the game on dedicated graphics card
12) Installing C++ files
13) Installing on a hard drive and reinstalling back to SSD
14) Appeals to the machine spirit of my computer
15) Reseting my BIOS
I'm out of ideas, pls help

Update:
I have a new computer with a better CPU, because my last one didnt meet requirements, and it runs fine

disable EAC. Found on framedsc. But with the caveat, I still BSOD crashed after a few hours of play, but at least it got me through a few missions.

To disable the EAC, please go to the folder <steam installation folder>\Space Marine 2\client_pc\root\bin\pc and create a new bat file, e.g. rungame.bat and open it in notepad. Paste the following lines in the file and save it:

set SteamAppId=2183900
set SteamGameId=2183900
"Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2 - Retail.exe"

Consider resetting BIOS or lowering your Over Clock settings if you overclock.

It seems to be a problem with the game interacting with Intel chips with aggressive OC settings. I have an Intel I9 14900K, and had it running other games fine with aggressive overclock settings, but whenever I launches this game it goes a Blue Screen of Death. I had to reset bios. Game has since run with no issues, so I've just re-overclock my settings around it.

Thank you for sharing, in combination with the 75 other things I've done already this has actually allowed me to reliably get 20-25 minutes of gameplay before bluescreening. I just hope the alleged release day patch actually appears and helps.

hey, idk if you've read the news, but you might wanna google that processor. Pretty high failure rates. Might not be this game actually causing your problem.

Same.
I contacted Saber Interactive Support, they answered under a few hours. I suggest you do the same (google them it's easy to find)

I was playing this just fine a couple hours ago but got frustrated with the long load times so I reinstalled it on a SDD. Now it crashes on launch every time. Couple that with the problem I initially had with the opening cutscene (rendering way too many FPS apparently and loading in the back). I’m baffled at how bad the optimisation was.

Crashes as soon as it says focus interactive cut scene

I had the same problem, funny enough disabling steam overlay fixed all my issues...silly

same here. I tried to launch the game many times but none succeeded. I asked for a refund within the first hour of play time and was entertained.
