Shield Bash does not break blocks. Really Saber?
The Bulwark is already in a very awkward position as it barley has anyway to get armor back outside of a specific skill on the Fist (which takes a 4 or 5 hit combo below 30% HP. Good luck getting that off every without losing more armor in the process) and it's Banner (which is far too long for a cooldown). Parries on bigger enemies just outright don't work which hurts everyone in the game and shooting any enemy with a gun strike still lets you get hit while in the animation which seems like a complete oversight since you shouldn't be getting hurt while doing it like an execution. Now I just found out that Shield Bash doesn't break guards which it says it's suppose to in the combo menu. Couldn't break through the shield blocks of the Egyptian trash adds. How the ♥♥♥♥ are you going to get release a game with a class that is the only one with a shield and not have it work correctly?

The balance in this game is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as is. Why do I take damage while trying to shield bash? Why does the Bulwark not give more defense to the team for it's first team node instead of just taking 5 seconds off the shield recharge (which doesn't recharge if you are blocking hits with the shield, but taking no actual damage). Why don't larger enemies stagger at all when you hit them with a heavy attack except for the running attack that you use to start fights? How did they release the game in this state? There's no way people are going to beat the PVE mode past Average difficulty as the devs clearly never tested it at all with how bad the weapons and unlockable perks are for the weapons and classes. Kill 10 enemies and get a buff for 5 seconds. Wow. Thanks devs. Really made the experience better.

Despite all the clear nerd rage in this post, I tend to agree. The game is a lot of fun but I really don't see anyone in their right mind playing on the higher 2 difficulties until some serious balance changes are made. There simply aren't enough defensive options besides RNG hoping for an enemy to enter a submissive and breedable state. Swarm AI seems like it is designed to punish you for attacking PERIOD, not just "at the wrong time" cause there is no right time, and that makes the "you always have to be on the offensive" gameplay fall flat on its face. I'd be fine if it was a skill issue but when there's so much RNG involved in just staying alive on the SECOND difficulty, that's not a skill issue, that's a design issue. Enemies are also WAY too tanky, especially some of the ranged units. Either more ammo, more damage, or less enemy health, idc, but the Space Marines need to be stronger.

The progression system is also really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ requiring way too much grind that is broken up in weird ways. So weird that I can level a class, get my favorite weapons stronger, and then have to go back to a lower difficulty for a dozen games to level up the next gun/melee weapon I want to try cause it would be a BB gun on "average".

They really nailed the feel of 40k and being a Space Marine but as soon as you start playing Operations, it becomes very clear that Saber does not know how to balance a pve coop shooter. And the sad part is, a lot of the problems aren't even tuning, they're baked into the core gameplay and I think that, while the game will improve over time, it's never going to be on the level of games like L4D, Vermin/darktide, or DRG. They really just didn't hone in on what the core gameplay was supposed to be.

u can parry with bulwalk
it is the input that ♥♥♥ u up
u have to click and release real quick or it ll turn into block

Um Vanguard and Assault have more melee upgrades. Assault is 95% Melee and 5% gunstrike

Found out you to double tap the parry button on the bigger guys or it just doesn't work. Devs completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the Bulwark class.

You can parry. You can't hold it to parry. You have to tap it.

Tapping on Bulwark is messed up at the moment due the game not being able to decide if you are trying to parry or block so it just seems to roll a 50/50 despite the parry animation going off.

Those trash adds shields should be cosmetic only. Those little ♥♥♥♥♥ wouldn't be blocking melee attacks from Astartes. At best the shield should absorb one hit and be destroyed.
