Loading to Server to play co-op Problem

my friend and i dont know why that sometimes we can join one another and other times we cant. we can join into each other games when in the ship but the moment we try to go to a mission we are stuck at the loading part where its trying to connect to a server. often times 1 person (normally the host) loads just fine but for the other it locks up. then with the most resent update i started seeing connection to steam struggle and disconnection problems. i understand this game is new but if the amount of players are a problem even before the game is fully released to ALL players then i fear what is to come next week. something needs to get fixed about this.

i already love this game and this isnt going to make me not enjoy it. however this is a growing problem in the industry where games online connections at release are poor at best and it shouldnt be happening. im going to play this game and i like it one way or another but i really wish i could play it with my friends with out having to spend hours just trying to get us into a single mission together or wait over a month for this kind of problem to get resolved. companies need to be setting a better examples then this for the gaming community at large. you make a great game not let these kind of things ruin it... its a real shame that it happens.

every time i hear someone mention it they just say "bad loading times" or "black screen bug/ loading error" they dont explain whats going on and most of the people i hear reporting it are not people who are dealing with it. that being youtubers and streams.

i have Gig speeds up and down so i really dont understand why this a problem unless it was the game servers themselves. let alone with the now 2 times they have worked on them its done nothing to fix this problem.

its the game servers, IMO they should have already had a patch out for game issues, the community is going to die rapidly with the current state of the game.

they already did work on the servers twice before launch with this supposedly being one of the reasons why and its had 0 improvement

I had to connect to a VPN to get this working. I have Fios on the east coast.

i don't use a VPN but that is about the only thing i have not tried but that leads me to believe it some kind of priority setting on the server depending on how far from it the game thinks you are or something to do with the response time the game server and the vpn server are having between one another where the game server things that the vpn is the player would might lend to why its favoring them due to just the distance they are from the server.

Launch your mission in solo mode, open up squad menu once you're in game and invite your friends via the code instead of using Steam invite.

Yes your friends will miss cutscenes but at least you get to play.

same here been trying to connect to the game but it just kept saying error code 4. however there is like a 1 in 20 chance to get the server connected, but it will drop out when you lunch the mission, its pretty F***ed up tbh.

I’m trying to do the co op campaign with my girlfriend, whenever I try to join her her game completely freezes, whenever she tries to join me I see her join my party but she gets stuck at loading resources infinitely, I’ve tried disabling steam overlay and steam cloud, turning off crossplay, launching the game from the application in the games folder, and nothing has worked so far

For me I’m able to only play campaign missions only. I can do online co-op in campaign but game keeps crashing when I attempt operations or PvP and bunch of trouble shooting quick fixes haven’t been working for me

With the exception of like 2 days this weekend the MM has been hot garbage for me too. I've turned off the Steam overlay, turned off crossplay... nothing is working. Apparently the console players are doing just fine, which makes it even more frustrating.

Coop worked fine for me the first 3 coop missions but this one I am doing tonight just won't load in at all, just stuck on JOINING SERVER over and over again. Tried 3 times now.
