Opinion on game after beating the campaign

This is my first warhammer game EVER i know nothing about it and the lore accept what is said in game and what my buddy helped explain (we played every mission with each other) I absolutely loved every second and when the game ended I wanted more as for the campaign I think it was awesome and for the pvp i think the classes need changed a little to make it more balanced mainly the shield dude the only tech issue i had was connection issues and thats about it no game breaking bugs or issues starting the game i hope we get DLC campaign missions other then that im in love with this universe and will definitely be checking out other games.

Darktide is another fantastic game set in the Warhammer 40k universe. But it's told from a more human perspective.

Also has awesome music. B )

check out the first space marine game literally a prequel in fact i like the first game a bit better since it was more sp focused so there was more love put into it

warhammer mechanicus has one of the best atmospheres ever and theres worldbuilding and lore as well, but more in a setting way.

From what I saw on youtube Spacemarine 2 is QTE: The Game. Or Guitar Hero with 4 strings and 1 drumstick for mashing. Enemy has a blue mark hit this button, red mark hit the other button, small red dot - shoot and finisher button for another mini-cutscene and you do it for 8 hours straight? LMAO

I will start saying this:
Spacemarine the original game by Pirana was an inspired game with some fanfic take on the universe, but it did it in a good way. This is why the game stuck in the minds of cazul players and even wh fans and is kept alive until now, since it didn't fiddle with the lore and did not pretend like something else. And to be honest it was the only game where you could live out that power fantasy of being a TRUE spacemarine after years and years of diving into the lore.

Primaris the game on the other hand though aka Spacemarine 2, is filled with controversy, unnecessary diversity, uninspired, slow peace with no highs in the story.
I will repeat myself, they lied the leak was a year old, and they are far ahead, and we don't need to worry bc they made it so much better and are already polishing it for release.
Well here is the truth, as I said then I say it now, it was leaked a finished product, they did not address any issues, weak and boring plot, no new added any interesting mechanics,

As a warhammer fan you can only single out great graphics and strong environment design, the artists did their homework WELL, it is great, as a casual, only smooth shooting maybe, UNLIKE THE REST OF THE GAME,

Devs went the most lazy way, I'm speaking no CANONICAL drop-pod entry, no dreadnought to control, no void battles, no barge sieges no diversity in the enemy or combat variety, not even necrons made an appearance (they baited that lots) no mounts or tanks to control, everyone would love to become a predator tank driver for a bit, the game had so much potential, and don't get me wrong but OG didn't have that eigher, but it was inspired, and as far as I know THQ went bankrupt and relic was sold right after, leaving the game in it's lacking state, it could be more but we will never know,
Saber went the exact same path making the game even worce that original, taking all the issues of the predesessor and not adding anything new in terms of variety, not addressing issues OG had, and namely, lack of combat variety and lack of enemies.

So what are we left with:

Great visually on point envionment,
Uninspired weak music,
Uninspired weak non-canonical dialogues that sound like written by 15 yo female, (Primaris marines sound like modern California, instead of human deities with their 3 lunged deep alien voices they should have)
Uninspired copypasta engine
Terrible gun design (they sound nothing like bolters either)
Copypasta intro ripped directly out of the OG SM,
Copypasta with weird and unnecessary addition of mechanics that don't fit, like hovering (why would you even do that, slowing down and making yourself exposed)
Everything about it screams - I am trying to sell you the original game but with less inspiration,

Even is atmosphere is wrong, not triumphant despite all odds, where you don't even root for the main protagonist, because he appears weak, and unable to control EVEN HIS OWN squad.
GW lost its touch and is now looking for more lore to destroy, and it is clear why you need a chinese and black primaris, because for the DEI you can not have already diverse but segregated legions, everything must be inclusive, everything must be diverse and mixed, (hello GW show Tithes and it's FEMstodes)
This game, could be something your kids would enjoy and you as a dad would be proud to have in your collection, but GW and ru developer they bet their horse on (that didn't produce any successful game in their history) killed it in the long run.

Yes brother, I understand what you are saying, but this is not going to change anything in the long run, we already are where we are, and this is what it is, if you think music is great and inspired, I have bad news for you, your taste is bad, compare it to the music of the first game and you will realize it is nowhere near, regarding the token marines, it might be a minor retcon right now, but small heresy is a path to Chaos and treachery, this is just the beginning my man

Welp the first Dawn of War bgm is also wicked sick, but we are talking abou faction related music so...
