Sisters have turned to chaos, there's one that even in universe is acknowledged as "the only one" but then you have the fact that the Imperial church is just covering it up. Don't get me wrong, The Sororitas are badass but there's a lot of in universe propaganda there.

So youre telling me that theyre trusted by inquisition to the point where sister word will carry more weight than inquisitor, because theyre that loyal, meanwhile all sisters falling to chaos left and right are just covered up?

I'll say it once like on another thread and I will say it again, Ultramar recruits from countless systems of worlds as the Ultramarines directly oversee these worlds for the most part, thus having access to a variety of different people they can scour for recruits. Also receiving the Geneseed doesn't automatically make you guaranteed to look like the Primarch, look at the various Salamanders who have hair despite the fact Vulkan is bald.

I'm pretty sure that organ just makes marine's skin rapidly darken to protect them from sunlight/radiation. I'm skeptical to the claim that it turns all marines in a chapter white/black.

Both the Salamanders and Raven Guayd have a mutated Melanchronic organ responsible for the ash-black/pale skin tones of their respective chapters, but this is very much the exception, not the norm.

Again, if there's anywhere in the source books/novels that claims otherwise I'm open to hearing it. :)

But again, based on GW's official paint-schemes, they clearly no longer honor that lore if it does exist.

Vulkan is actually the tallest of the primarchs canonically, excluding Magnus using warp schenanigans to alter his height.

We have actual source, marines are 7 ft in power armor on average, which means there are taller than 7ft and shorter than 7ft, reasonably if theres 8ft marine there should be someone whos 6 ft, but that would be insane variation in height.
