I mean basic customization isnt added for our faces? They boasted about their armor customization for months but didnt bother to add simple face choices?

Blackrock owns 10% of GWs stock so they wanted GW to "Diversify" and im assuming GW passed the word on down. They could of had Salamanders as a part of the story but they wanted a humiliation ritual instead of adding black characters for the sake of story.
Its the same reason why they have woman custodes now. Its not about making things more inclusive and open, its about tearing down/inverting the things you enjoy.

Or, you know, they could just be chill and are letting girls and different ethnicities see themselves in the Emperor's finest warriors.
