FPS dropping to the 30s on an RTX 3080 & an i9-10900
Is this gonna be something addresed in the launch? I've tried to change from high medium & low and cleared out my PC, yet i'm still having massive framerate drops no matter the settings. Would love to know if there are any solutions to the matter :)

Try disabling overlays, make sure youre in fullscreen, use dlss if you aren't already, other than that I dont know as I have a 2080ti and a 9900k and rarely dip below 55 on high at 1440p (dlss balanced)

You are CPU bound. The swarm part of the game engine takes up a ton of CPU. Im hitting 100% cpu usage with a 12900k+4090

Edit: To add onto this, there isnt really a setting you can change outside of cloth simulation that will drastically lower the cpu usage.

RTX 3080 Ryzen 5800x3d 32gb ram 1440p maxed setting dlss quality.. it run 100+ fps, might drop to 70-90ish on crowded fight

Done alot of that. Not tried disabling overlays but I don't feel like it would make a difference.

Aye, has been running it no issue yet the CPU seems to be struggling to keep 60.

Use older drivers or NVIDIA studios

No idea what to tell you as this is the problem you run in with PC gaming. Every setup is different which is what consoles have over them...they are all exactly the same.

Don't recall my CPU (think it is a i7 something or other) and a RTX 2060 and I did have to adjust some of the video settings after the last patch but it has been smooth ever since then.

I have a 3060 TI and and more dated CPU and get better frames. Lol 😆

3070ti
12700k - 5ghz
DLSS - Quality
1440p

Get around 70 - 80 frames, but can drop to like 50 - 60 during combat or 40 when the bridge explodes in decapitation.

My biggest issue is my character randomly stopping sprinting and I have to physically re-press shift and W.

Its probably best to ask a tech guru, because this situation is very strange, the game runs great and stable on my cpu r9 5900x and gpu 3080 strix oc at 1440p.

I also saw a thread about a player having same cpu as me but his somehow burned up and got destroyed but his friend got him a new cpu.

Any tech guru who knows what's going on? because this is sus
