Generally how match making in any PvP game would work. Solos match up to 3 person premades (1s, 2s, 3s), and full premades either do other full premades or potentially 2 3 person premades.
The Codex Astartes does not support this action!
That's actually false advertisement if you bought the game before they changed the website. If that's true, that's pretty bad and you actually have a legal case against them. The law in this country states that reasonable expectations of a product can come from all sources of their advertisements, not just the place of purchase. e.g. youtube trailers or website claims, not just the steam store. You could reasonably expect to have what was promised on trailers and websites even if the steam store has never directly listed that feature.
If they advertised the game as having 6 player matching and then removed it right as the game came out, yeah, that's lawsuit material if anybody actually cared enough to do it. So now they legally have to enable 6 player matching whether you ask for it or not.
They do however legally also have time to fix this issue before you can claim it. It's just how laws on software work, they get time to fix issues before you can sue them because everyone understands software is complex and ♥♥♥♥ happens. However if they haven't added it a couple of months from now, you have a legal case in law.
Totally different question if any lawyer / solicitor would take it however as it's probably a worthless case to them, and you for that matter. The law also deems that if you use a product then you would only be refunded for the portion that you haven't got. That could be deemed to be a minimal amount of money, like imagine it only equates to £4 of your purchase. And that makes it only viable for a class action. GL getting gamers to do a class action, they are as fickle as it gets.
Still, it would be nice to see companies actually getting held accountable for once. Cos they get away with ♥♥♥♥ like this all the time cos gamers don't do ♥♥♥♥ all about it.
You: i want to play competative.
Also you: whoa whoa whoa not that competative, jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ christ!
Dont be a ♥♥♥♥♥.
Or at the very least give solos a solo queue.
