Melta and Flamer guns in the campaign feel quite weak.
In the second mission where you use the flamer, it is good against only the rippers. This is very silly I think, the flamer is supposed to be one of the most ideal weapons against Tyranids, why does it absolutely suck against every other kind of Tyranid than rippers?

Likewise, the melta gun needs most of a magazine to kill even a single Tyranid warrior. This thing has piercing 10, and is an actual anti tank weapon, I feel that it should be able to actually deal with big Tyranids.

Both weapons are easily balanced by their short range, and the melta gun also with low ammo capacity. There is no need to not make them powerful close range slappers, other than forcing people to do more melee.

Playing on hard, so maybe this is different on easier modes, but really the fact that the stalker bolter is a quicker time to kill on warriors than a point blank melta gun, doesn't make even a little sense.

The melta gun is definately a lot better in operations/co-op cause it gets a upgrade to make it regen ammo.

triple tap the melta aiming for the top of the ring to hit the head, and the bottom to hit the chest, then execute.

Multi Melta / Melta vs bunched up weak enemies go brrrrrr

Flamer is literally only good for that campaign mission as the rippers shred you if you don't use it. Literally anything else is better than the flamer.

Yeah, I was disappointed in the Flamer. I felt like it only tickled the regular Tyranids and was just for scaring the Rippers.

Melta Gun though felt really powerful, but just had crap ammo capacity.

Just kinda sad, for a setting where incendiary weapons are so powerful and important, that they are just meh here.
