Rare cases where some dont go above 75C but those people are running the weird CPU's like the i7-13800f's or f's in general dont seem to have the higher temp issues but they are still on the higher side than they normally run.
Yep.. Games like ARMA 3 and other CPU titles hardly run mine over 70C.
Diablo 4 is even considered a CPU intensive game and uses 80% CPU sitting in towns, 72C.
This game in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ main menu: 85C.

Yeah, agreed. There's something unusual going on here. I hope they figure it out.
This is already off to begin with for most people who know their setups and game avidly.
I hope so! I'll be playing later today. Hopefully they already fixed it. That would be fantastic.
You need better cooling. It's not the game's fault.
Game utilizes CPU and GPU, causing the temperatures to go up due to lack of sufficient cooling and then you're blaming the game for trying to use your processing resources... pikachu face T_T
You need to get your system to a state where you can run Prime95 for CPU and furmark for GPU for an hour without any temperature/throttling issue (honestly speaking if you can run them for 20 minutes without issues, you should be good)
People usually only turn off boost if they have bad cooling and are looking for a way to drop temps... like on laptops with Intel CPU's as performance takes a big hit without boost.
FPS limit is the best way to take the heat off IMO.
but it is the games fault, explain how this game runs my temps hotter than any other game even way more cpu intensive ones, also its using the same power uncapped as capping at 60 fps too. literally no other game runs my system this hot. its close to cinebench temps i get and that's a damn stress test. no game should be doing this and the fact its impacting AMD and INTEL shows its not a single brand issue with cpu's either, i even have a arctis freezer 2 360 AIO and my cpu is undervolted and its still hot.
stop defending trash its pathetic
Have 13700F and 4080 and after downloading some updates, I still has 90 degrees on average. Don't know what hotfix was about.
