Concerns regarding replayability [PvE]
First off I just wanna say I am not a big PvP player, I bought this game mainly for the campaign / Coop PvE so my dissapointment with the "lack of content" might be due to my own constraints in what part of the game I wanna play and which not.

As far as I see there is only 6 "Operations" outside the main Campaing and I can imagine they're gonna get boring pretty fast if you only play PvE to unlock stuff for all your classes.

I was honestly hoping for a PvE model akin to Helldivers 2. I really hope theyre gonna add more missions or PvE modes with reaplayability and variety in mind.

Yes, the replayability is close to nothing for PvE and looking at the roadmap, I don't think this is going to change.
I was hoping operations mode was not so linear and had different possible objectives for each map, so you could have different experiences with the same map. That's why I thought 6 maps were fine at launch. I never thought it would be 6 completely linear missions with no replay value.
Add to that the fact that campaign missions don't count for PvE progress and you can't replay those missions with the PvE characters from operation mode... The lack of content is really disappointing.

The issue with people expecting helldivers out of this game, when we all knew it was not, keeps happening.

I mean I was not expecting helldivers in a sense of a live galactic war with game masters ect. But I was expecting PvE with a little more replayability in mind then 6 MISSIONS and then NOTHING

The developer said they are going to add more operations in the future.
Also, there is nothing wrong into finishing a game and moving on, not every game has to suck hundreds of hours.

That price tag (£90) seems to suggest its a AAAAAAA game...
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I can see the operations getting repetitive after a few tries, the devs said a "horde mode" is coming next spring, I think. Hopefully it's a fresh take that gets more randomized missions.

operations are there if you love the game and/or want a shot of SM2 combat, the game isnt a GaaS or a forever game, it's not pretending to be. besides ive played 3 of the 6 operations and they all were honestly really fun and epic each time

there's also difficulty sliders which alter the experience

its fun when i see young ppl get all mad at a full AAA price tag...back in the day, most AAA games were full price also...i remember paying $49.99 USD for most good games, then all of a sudden it went up to 59.99 and now 69.99...

The replayability right now is certainly a major concern, with the main game mode you're supposed to grind out and sink your time into only having 6 extremely static missions, with *one* additional mission coming sometime in 2024, and *one* more in 2025.

This would be less of an issue if the game didn't come with a 60€+ price tag. The amount of content offered here does not fall in line with the price tag, at least not for me. There's other MP-focused horde games that launched for half the price of this game, but with a boatload more content.

Anthem Vibes, exactly same thing early access, lack of content, the rest you know .

I thought I read that the missions were kind of l4d style with random enemies and dynamic events? Are they completely the same every play through?

I only bought for single player and will refund if there is no replay value. I'm only an hour in so far
After playing few operation game, I decided to play back darktide 😅

No one was expecting HDs the devs promised 6 missions with great replayability and a AI director like L4D and WWZ but they lied and we didnt get that.

No they are nowhere near L4D or WWZ they are the same missions with the same objectives. The same events and only a occasional random enemy. Dont expect to wanna play these missions more then 2 or 3 times.
